So I have a bunch of aviation photos and other pictures that I have descriptively titled. It seems that Tiger does not search by filename anymore. Am I missing something blatant? Any filename I type in does not turn up results. I can type in my camera model and everything in iPhoto turns up, but nothing by filename. AAAH help please!!

No, it is the actual file name. I import my photo into iPhoto, then export and edit in PS. I then save the file with the tailnumber of the plane, the airport, and the date. So it is a standard desktop (1024x768) jpg that resides in my Pictures folder.

can you try manually finding it? If you search for something else can you find it? Make sure also you're searching in the right places. Maybe try going to "Searching in: Specific Places" and check the hard drive you know the file's on? I've never heard of this not working.
