I know this is a dumb thing to have on a wishlist, but I've always wished we could have the option to change the color of the blurbs in SMS. The green/gray has gotten boring.

I noticed during Engadget's live coverage, they showed a pic of SMS in iPhone 5, and the blurbs are now blue and gray. Will this be the standard color on the new iOS 5, or do we finally have the option to change them to whatever color(s) we want?

Pretty sure that was for iMessage. SMS and MMS are probably still green.

That is iMessage. The normally text message is still exactly the same. Or you would not be able to tell the difference between the two.

I was under the impression that iMessage would be the new "SMS/MMS". What is the difference, exactly?

iMessage is like BBM, but for iPhones (and iPads and iPod touches).

So there will be status updates, and it will tell you if a message has been delivered, read, etc.?

Nice of them using some jokes this time instead of the old "Let's go eat. Sure...")

Did you guys notice that the keyboard they showed in those slides is the old version?
