Why aren't there any more ipad mini rumors / leaks?

I genuinely thought we would see one in October....I never knew it was 2015 Oct though!

I think the rumor sites have exhausted - perhaps temporarily - things to speculate on about a potential smaller iPad model. I doubt we'd seen the end of it, though 😉

It does make you wonder though, about a decision to release the iPad Mini at the same time as new iPhone and new iPods (assuming they do release it).

I'm hoping that all of their iOS devices become named similar to the Mac lineup; iPad Mini Late 2012, iPhone Late 2012, iPad Early 2013, etc... This would certainly throw off the rumor mills from "expected" refresh times, and let us all forcibly relax a little more.

Aside from the logistics of releasing everything in one quarter it would also create a dead quarter in the spring where there's no new product to spur sales.

The new iPad mini will be waterproof.

There you go, a brand new rumour. You heard it here first.

Now you can die happy.

If they announce the iPad Mini at the iPhone event I doubt it will be immediately available like the iphone. it will probably get announced a good month or even longer before it gets released. so since its not in production there probably aren't as many leaks.

Like the old one and it's perfect

The old size isn't going away. It still has its place.

I dislike making sales predictions, but this one is easy. If Apple brings out a mini before the holidays, it's going to sell like hotcakes. A lot of us own 7" Android tablets mostly because they're such a convenient size.
