No more low batt sign and ask you to plug in your lightning cable after iPhone 6 Plus died?

Anyone encounter this or only me?

Anyone else on iOS 8 no longer had the low batt screen and asking you to plug in your cable to charge sign?

My iPhone 5 is on iOS 7 and when the phone died it still got the low batt screen and asking you to plug in your cable to charge sign.

As attached is what I mean...

Once you have a near death experience, you tend not to sweat the little things.

IPad air 1 and iPhone 5s both on iOS 8.1 are ok.

Only iPhone 6 plus does not show that screen
