Anyone else on iOS 8 no longer had the low batt screen and asking you to plug in your cable to charge sign?

My iPhone 5 is on iOS 7 and when the phone died it still got the low batt screen and asking you to plug in your cable to charge sign.

As attached is what I mean...

Happen to me when I updated 8.1 on iPad 2..
So far 6 plus okay!

IPad air 1 and iPhone 5s both on iOS 8.1 are ok.

Only iPhone 6 plus does not show that screen
