iPhone 13 mini No more new Apple smell?

Anyone else notice the lack of new Apple smell on this iPhone? The last phone I got was the X so maybe I’m behind the times.

As I understand there’s no plastic wrapping. I’d assume any new smell would be able to out gas. By using a permeable paper product.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think I’ve ever even noticed (much less looked forward to) the smell of a new iPhone.
