Yes but it wont be waiting for hours overnight like it used to be. It will probably only be a queue to get served which is no different to queueing at a supermarket at a busy time.I'm sure there will be a wait. Each reservation time has to have more than one person assigned to it. Delivery is the way to go, unless you have the time to wait in-store.
There will be. There are still people out there not comfortable shopping online; and frankly missed the pre-order date because the average person doesnt watch the Apple streaming announcement and have a timer set.
I prefer to go and pick my phone up in the store because it beats waiting around for delivery guys all day long.
So you'd rather wait for hours in potentially bad weather than doing something productive? This. I don't have time to wait for delivery truck to show up since it requires signature and I may not be aviailable. I can just get it from the store, order online, pick up at the store.
This is what I mean. I don't think you will wait hours anymore. Since Apple now give you a 15 minute pickup slot.So you'd rather wait for hours in potentially bad weather than doing something productive?
Oh I thought you mean walk in without any preorder or reservation. This is what I mean. I don't think you will wait hours anymore. Since Apple now give you a 15 minute pickup slot.
This I agree. I remember when I pre-ordered the iPad Mini when it first came out. I was waiting for the UPS to come. Wasted about 8 hours of my time that day just staring at the window lol.I prefer to go and pick my phone up in the store because it beats waiting around for delivery guys all day long. I'm working a night shift the night before the release so it's more convenient for me to just guy and pick it up in store rather than waiting in all day for it to be delivered when I should be sleeping!
I'm pretty sure there might still be lines for those who didn't do any pre-order or reservation.Oh I thought you mean walk in without any preorder or reservation.
Well, with UPS you can have it hold at a ups center and pick up whenever you want. No wait.This. I don't have time to wait for delivery truck to show up since it requires signature and I may not be aviailable. I can just get it from the store, order online, pick up at the store.
Has there ever been an iPhone release without people camping out and waiting hours?I don't think there will be big lines to purchase the iPhone 6s. Look at the pre-order delivery dates, they are still showing 09/25 for most models. Unless you want the rose gold iphone, I don't see too many people waiting in line. I just pre-ordered and iPhone 6s silver 64gb with delivery date 09/25.
No but this is the first time you could pre reserve.Has there ever been an iPhone release without people camping out and waiting hours?
I completely agree.I prefer to go and pick my phone up in the store because it beats waiting around for delivery guys all day long. I'm working a night shift the night before the release so it's more convenient for me to just guy and pick it up in store rather than waiting in all day for it to be delivered when I should be sleeping!
Won't it partially down to Angela that this year's launch seems to have gone what seems to be quite a bit smoother than previous tears?Angela won't stop us!
I completely agree.
I've got an 8.30am pick up for my 6S+, which should mean I'm home and starting to play with my new toy by about 10am.
None of this constantly peering out to the road malarkey for me this year!![]()
Haha, it certainly used to be mate, but as Danny Glover would say in the Lethal Weapon films...Isn't that the whole fun??![]()
