iPhone 16 Pro Max No more store trade in??

I've always been able to trade in my previous iphones at the store in the past. I just noticed that the email I got for the 16 PM says I can't trade the 15 pro in store? Is this new or maybe I just didn't see it?

There’s a spot when you order where you pick trade in in store or not.

I don't see it anywhere it only gave me the option to add my address.

You have to choose the store trade in option when you place the order, it’s still an option, I chose it with my order.

I can't that option on my browser or on my apple store app. Right after I select the phone and confirm the condition, it goes straight to the payment option. It might just be my location or something but I don't have the option for store trade in.

Well that’s interesting, I just tried inputting an order just now to see and I’m now seeing what you are. There is no option to choose in store trade in, even if you select in store pickup. I wonder why that is.

Maybe it's a country specific thing. I am in US and it doesn't give me the in store trade in option either.

I'm in the US too. It was an option on Friday when preorders went live so it seems something has changed since then.
