So I searched the forums to see if there was a posting on this already and I couldn't find any. So sorry if this a double post...

So when I updated my 3G with the 4.0 update, I still had visual voicemail. Well, today I picked up my iPhone 4 and when I tapped the voicemail icon, it just called in to my vm. Anyone else notice this? And does anyone have any answers or links that could explain this? Thanx in advance! Hope everyone's enjoying their new iPhone :D

Could this be some type of provisioning issue. I'm thinking when I activated visual voicemail on one of my ATT BlackBerry devices that it took a while.

Call yourself and leave a voicemail. This will give Visual VM the kick it needs to set up on your new phone. It'll ask for you your VM passcode and then set itself up.

If it asks for your VM password, click the little gray "?".... it will tell you to dial ATT for help. Click OK.

Choose the option for Voicemail Help.

Choose Voicemail Password.

Enter your ZIP code for verification.

You will be sent a text message with your new VM password.

Enter this PW when your iPhone asks for PW. Though in my case, once I got the txt msg, I then clicked the VM icon and was walked through setting up my visual VM again. Once I did, all of my old VMs were displayed and all was good!

Only thing I had to do was setup my personal greeting again.

I've been having this issue and still cannot get it to work.

I reset everything using the provided steps and when I get to the greeting screen and click "save", it just keeps spinning at "saving password" and eventually times out.

Any ideas for me?
