no mountable file systems error

    I downloaded Xcode 3.2.6 on my mac leopard.But when I am installing it Im getting error "no mountable file systems" ..I couldn't understand where the problem lies?How to fix it?

    You downloaded this from where and in what kind of format? A dmg? Sounds like your download got corrupted. You can find Xcode 3.1.2 on your Leopard install disk.
