iPad Pro no movie thumbs

whenever i convert a movie in handbrake, add some cover art in itunes, then drag it over to my ipad pro, the movie shows up and plays normally on my device, but non of them have any cover art. nothing. but it does in my itunes library. im on ios 9.2.1

any ideas?

itunes was looking at them as 'home movies' and not 'films'. this option can be easily changed 🙂

Oh, you said movie thumbs, not thumb movies... My bad.
