No news in proactive search

After installing iOS 9 Public Beta earlier today when it released I was able to see news in the new area for searching. It showed the search bar, Siri Suggestions, Nearby and then News. But after about an hour the News part totally disappeared while everything else in there stayed.

Has anyone else had this happen? Or know of an option anywhere for it or fix?

Thanks to QuarterSwede I was able to get it fixed by doing a reboot.

For those who can't see anything MuGeN PoWeR was able to get his to show up by resetting all settings.

Oh I get it and bugs don't bother me.(so I'm not complaining) I'm used to doing betas for quite a few games and have been doing OS X and iOS since their public beta releases. As painful as some bugs can be, some are just downright hilarious and good for a laugh.

Again though thanks for the reboot tip.
 
New question now that I have news showing in the search below Nearby. Is there any way to change the source of the news? I'm in Canada and it only gives me things from cbc.ca. And quite frankly things I don't care to read about.

Does it maybe learn what you look at over time and give you that kind of news? (Part of the whole proactive thing?)

consider yourself lucky that news is showing up. most of the people can't see anything 😛
 
I don't have nearby nor News, also spotlight suggestions don't work.

May that have something to do with the fact I am not in the US

I've seen many have the issue of News and Nearby not showing, but what about Spotlight Suggestions? I read somewhere that was only available in some countries but that makes no sense at all, I can't get Wikipedia or Sports scores when searching in spotlight

all i can see is the Search bar. thats it
 
Here I found some info where it says Spotlight Suggestions is only available on a few countries it really makes no sense at all for that feature not to be available for everyone
