iPad Pro No numbers row on 2021 11-inch iPad Pro onscreen keyboard?

Upgraded today from a 2016 iPad Air to a 2021 11-inch iPad Pro. I’m loving it so far — huge upgrade in every respect — but the onscreen keyboard isn’t showing the numbers row, which I thought was at least an option now. Am I wrong about that or just missing a setting somewhere? Thanks.

The small size iPad Pro never had any number rows on the software keyboard.
