it's always been $200 to add a superdrive to a mac laptop (i.e. the combo drive versions are always $200 cheaper).

ibooks are great computers. PBs are better, but ibooks are better values, and are none too shabby.

SuperDrive $200 upgrade has good Value

it's always been $200 to add a superdrive to a mac laptop (i.e. the combo drive versions are always $200 cheaper).

To replace a Combo drive with a SuperDrive after purchase would cost over $400 in parts and labor.
$200 upgrade to replace a $50 Combo is a super deal and a great idea!
As they say, "JUST DO IT!"
