No one is getting stick Digital Crown? I find it annoying that every 2 days I have to clean my crown by running warm water into the it and spinning it.

This is the first apple product I have that requires cleaning every 2 days. And I don't even use my watch in harsh environment. It's all indoor.

Mine is sometimes a little sticky if I haven't used it for a while. Then when I scroll it, it sticks a little, but afterwards it's just fine.

hmm had mine for over 2 weeks now and havent had any issues? i use it at gym 3 times a week too.

If I don't rinse my watch after a workout, my digital crown can get a little sticky. However, I sweat like a beast, so I always rinse it. Other than from workouts, it's always been fine.

Not having any issues. I workout hard, bike, and my wrists sweat hard.

Digital Crown appears to work as normal, or at least since I have had it day one, and all I may do is wipe it down with a moist cloth or towel.

Am I the only one who doesn't use the digital crown that much? I've had the watch for about a week and can count on one hand how many times I've used it.

I have a SS and I feel like the resistance of the crown has increased since launch day. Running warm water and scrolling doesn't really help either. My brother has sport model and his crown is buttery smooth.

I love it. Sometimes I even try to scroll the crown on my iPhone 6..... :p

How's that working out for you? you never know.. iPhone 7

In response to the post. I had my crown become sticky a couple of days after I got it. I ran it under a warm tap while turning and it's been fine ever since

After a workout the other day I needed to rinse my watch. My crown still stuck after the rinse so I tried to roll the crown back and fourth while running it under water and that freed it up for what it's worth.

I have to clean my Watch usually once a week and then once again on the weekends. I don't think it's a fault with the watch.

Haha! It's getting pretty difficult! You'll never know if iPhone 7 will have it :D

I find the whole argument that "cleaning" the watch crown is a hassle a little over-exaggerated. I have had my watch for 7 days and had to "clean" the watch crown twice. This entailed me letting some water hit the crown while washing my hands while being careful not to soak my leather band. I then dry the watch while I dry my hands. All done. People SHOULD be washing their hands at least daily (please, please, please do it way more often), how is this a big deal?

No sticky crown here and I've been using my 42mm Sport all day long since May 1st. I exercise with my watch at least 8-10 hours a week and I sweat a lot.

No issues here...

Daily:eek::eek: They should be washing them at least 10x a day.;)

Also no reason why you can't just rinse off the :apple:Watch too.

Sticky Crown = poor hygiene. Guess Apple didn't account for that.:D

Actually people may be but with a leather strap you are inclined not to get the leather wet so might not let water splash over the watch.

I've had min for about 20 days now, got one minor stick that didn't effect the turning after I overcame the resistance (annoying though) and it kept coming back until I got to the point of doing the washing fix.. no problems since :)
