    hey,
just wondering if a couple people could confirm/deny this.
I seem to have found a weird loophole once an iDevice is jailbroken.
So i did parental controls on son's jailbroken iphone for safari. i found by accident that even when the restriction is on, the app still pops up on phone spotlight and pops up completely normal, even when restricted.

anyone willing to try this out and let me know if my phone is weird, or if this merely something that happens during jailbreaking that hasn't been tweaked yet...

    interesting huh?

no big deal if there isn't a way to fix.....but would love to know the real answer.
    thanks

You can also put a pin number on any app you want with a JB iphone.

    thanks for the reply,
i think i've tried one program via jailbroken tat still didn't work...weirdly enough....but have no idea what it was....
but what are you referring too??? i'm eager to try
    thanks so much
PS: i'm assuming this is different than the pin via standard parental controls (to unlock/lock apps)...because those don't work either

    Or madvlock http://www.mcleaner.com/how_to_use/madvlock_faq.shtml

:D:D Guess you don't really know the "Real" Applejuiced! he isn't that kind and helpful really...

One time there was this guy who accidentally double posted, so AJ went to the guy's place dragged him out of his house took him to the beach...buried him all the way up to the neck in the sand, then smeared honey and jam all over the guy's head and let the ants and the bees have a go at him...it was a horrific site, that's how he rolls, especially when you don't play by the rules around here. :D ;)

Once its jailbroken, if your son is remotely smart, or has smart friends, he will find away to disable your parental controls on a temporary basis. If they are important to you, update his phone so it can't be jailbroken.

If its stock you definetelly wont be able to put up locks with pins on particular apps.
Not every kid is a programmer or good with SSH.
