Just got it today, the watch don’t ring when the phone does...
Weird any recommendations?

thanks!

Is the watch properly paired to your phone?
Are both devices on non beta releases?
Do you have WiFi calling enabled?
Paired it properly. Other notifications are coming thru.
All non beta release and no I do not have Wi-Fi Calling

Same problem...

With iPhone 11 Pro (14.0.1) and AW 5 (7.0.1)

I have already reset everything; I installed iOS with DFU and WatchOS...

I had that issue and someone else posted the solution. .I shut the phone off followed by the watch, turned the phone on first then the watch and it works fine again.

This solution worked for me but a little time after, no notification at phone calls again...

Same here, no consistency either. Sometimes it works like normal but 95% of the time watch doesn’t ring. You can reboot all you want both devices same results regardles.

at this point with how many seem to be having this and on different models of apple watch it is probably safe to assume its a watch OS bug and will have to wait for a update to fix it.

Are these "regular" phone calls (i.e., phone calls made to your phone number through the Phone app), or calls through VoIP apps (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, etc.)?

I know that at least as of WatchOS 6/iOS 13, calls through VoIP apps did not send a notification to the Watch, but I don't know if that's changed with the recent updates.

Dang. Could also be a SIM issue. Try maybe removing the SIM/carrier plan info from your watch and re-adding it?

I am having the same issue. When the watch is in Cellular mode, the iPhone and watch ring together. However as soon as it connects to the iPhone's bluetooth or WiFi, it does not ring. It is really strange.

Do you use CarPlay? I have the same exact issue. I can fix it by restarting both the phone and watch, but as soon as I connect to the car......issue comes back.

I do use CarPlay but even when I do not connect I’m still having the same issue. I’ve updated to iOS 14.1 and have WatchOS on the latest software. Worked for a couple of days and stopped again. But it does work when the Watch is in cellular mode.

anyone still having issues?

This may not be of any help but i have tested this several times onn wifi and cellular and it works every time. The watch rings a split second before the phone.

There are some checks you can do

Oh thats interesting. So my wife has the issue and its intermittent but car play doesnt seem to affect her (we just recently found this out). And yes, when using cellular no issues.

Is everyone here on this thread having issues have a cellular model? At least maybe we can narrow it down to that.

Its interesting that this issue is not more widespread, specially since people have fully restored their devices (including myself) and the issue persist.
