No Picture on Front Row

Hi All,

Using a mac mini with my tv.

I am trying to play AVI files on it. I have installed perian and flip4mac, I have sound but no picture in front row. The files play fine in quicktime but not front row.

When i launch front row when i go to the movies folder it shows the preview if you like (i.e a still image from the move) so it can see it fine but when you go to play you just get sound.

Its the latest mac mini (2.26) running 10.6.2

Any help much appreciated.

update - most AVI's play now, after playing about with flip4mac and DIVX however some clips appear grey and last about 5 seconds still. Any ideas?
