Hi,

I have a question (macbook air).

If I open a document, originally made in word windows, I can see the plain text, but the pictures which are in he original document aren't shown in the opened document.. If I click on the document file in finder I see the document and his pictures in the little preview on the right.

Why can't I see the pictures in the opened document and how will I get them there?

AFAIK you need MS Office for this or Apple's iWork.
A preview does not guarantee that you are able to open the document as is.
 
Apple's Pages(part of iWork, but can be bought separately) or one of the free office programs: NeoOffice or OpenOffice, is what you need.

What application are you using to open the .doc file? What version of that app? What version of Word was used to create it?
