No 'Ping' in iOS 6?

Like many others, in the previous software, I disabled 'Ping' to save battery life on my phone, in iOS 6 it appears 'ping' is not there to restrict anymore.

Is this the case, or is it hiding somewhere?

Ping is toast. It's going away.

Ping was discontinued. Apple ended it in the last update.

Ping is history now. Apple announce they would end Ping in the Sep 12th event.

one less thing we have to worry about draining the battery! 😉
