I was kinda hoping the 6s would have a small price drop after the 7 announcement, but the 128gb version remains at £599 while the 64gb version is obviously no more.

Does it usually happen this way? I'm quite new to this :)

The 128gb was never at 599. It was much more than that. 64gb was 620.

I think the pricing was £539 for the base model and £619 for the mid model. (£699 for 128 I think?)

The pricing is now £499 for the base and £599 for the mid level model.

So the base has dropped by £40, and is £100 cheaper than an iPhone 7. The mid tier hasn't dropped as much as the price differential between storage tiers is now £100 rather than £80.

Time to ask around friends / family and see if anyone is visiting the USA soon. It's far cheaper there.
