Hi all,

in my understanding:

When iPhone is connected to carrier per LTE or WLAN, Watch is on LTE, NO bluetooth connection to iPhone or iPhone is NOT nearby, then i get push notifications for mail (apple mail) on the watch, right?

I'm sure that some weeks before, before updating iPhone 7 to ios11.2b and Apple Watch to watch os4.2b that functions perfectly. But sometimes (and i don't know when exactly), it stops working and notifications don't come through in the described scenario. Calls and iMessage are running perfectly on watch per lte, but no mail and no push notification is coming thru on lte. i don't receive mails and cannot send mails form watch in lte.

I made all i know: reboot, reset Iphone, Watch, pair, unpair, even set back iPhone and played back an backup, no effort: no push notifications on lte on watch with iPhone on or off. I've no idea anymore what to do, especially because it was running sometimes in the past.

Iphone 7, iOS 11.2 final, Watch 3, iOS 4.2 final, Telekom as carrier.

Anyone a good idea? Anyone with the same problem?

Thx
laro

I really don’t know why you don’t get notifications on lte. I get mail, gmail, instragram , the score, etc all via Lte no problem! Do you het notifications when connected via Bluetooth? Maybe check your settings in the watch app on the phone and check if notifications are on for those specific apps

Watch and iPhone per Bluetooth: all notifications
Watch and iPhone both on same wlan, Bluetooth off: all notifications
Watch and iPhone on LTE, Bluetooth off: no notifications, call and iMessage are running, apps can connect to internet from Watch f.ex. Carrot

I don’t know why. Especially because I’m sure that it was running before days, weeks, updates, beta, i don’t know

Now I’m trying to unpair Watch and set up as new Watch without backup

UPDATE
Got it working again!
What I've done? Unpair and Reset Watch to blank 4.2, Reset/Cleared IphoneX and restored 11.1.2 (NOT 11.2).
All is running perfectly again.

Seems to be a problem of io11.2.
As i said before, could be the moment when i installed ios11.2 the first time that i got no notifications anymore.

Today tested again: IPhoneX with iOS 11.2.1 and with iOS 11.2.5 (beta). In both cases: from the moment updating to iOS 11.2.x: no mails, no push notifications when watch on LTE. Going back to ios11.1.2: runs perfectly.

Must in fact be a problem of iOS 11.2.

BUT.....what i don't understand: Am i the only one with this problem? If this would be a common problem, then the communities and threads must be full with this problem. BUT....I've found only one or two threads with this Problem, all the others seemed to be ok and they get push notifications and mails on watch per LTE with iOS 11.2.x. Really?

I have the same problem!
After hours and weeks and loosing hours and hours of Lifetime ;-) of testing and communicating with apple developers, i've found the solution by random. It was my appleID. I don't know why and what, but after updating to versions > 11.2.x my old appleID seems to block the notifications on LTE. I've made a new appleID, transferred all data to it (a huge process :-(). After all it runs perfectly. Notifications all the way, on LTE, everywhere. Since then no problems more, I'm on 11.3b on iOS and 4.3b on watch.

I have the same problem,,, no notifications on LTE,, I’m on 11.3 beta,,I can’t go back to 11.1.2,, how do we fix it? Does the Apple ID method or was it just luck? How do you do it?

I have the same issue and I wanted to know if the Apple ID method worked for someone else?
