No Refurb macbooks on Apple.........that seems strange,,,,they always have them...
Yeah I noticed that too, maybe C2D ones coming soon...
I just so happened to be looking for a refurb today
Are there MBP 15" on there often? If so, how much?
It could be that they had a glut of them when they were fixing all of the initial problems. Now, it is possible that the inventory has dried up a little.
IN any case, check back on Tuesday morning (tomorrow). It is likely that you'll see some more refurbished stuff then.
Also, today was a holiday in the states.
You have to be up really early in the morning when they post new stuff. I will say that they put stuff up at the same time every weekday so keep an eye out. I got frustrated with waiting for a refurb C2D Macbook and just went to the store and got one (student discount). I was still seeing a lot of good deals on the C2D MBPs up until a few days ago when I stopped looking.
I am at home all day. and always check my sites early....the Always have macbook....the site seems lite on all stuff.....maybe I will check tomorrow
I also have a ED discount...but I might wait and see what comes out....sold my macbook and went back to a imac G4.......so i will wait
has their ever been C2D MB on there?
A few members have but I personally have not. Someone did mention that the C2D MBs will be coming out this week so let's hope because I have the moo-lah ready
I haven't seen C2D MBs on there but people claim there have been. I was going on almost every night for weeks. I was always on within minutes of them posting new stuff...but then again I do have bad luck with these things. I also found that they don't (often?) post on weekends. They usually had a wide variety of C2D MBPs but most of those were usually gone before noontime EST.
Anyway, that's been my experience. I would guess that they'll have quite a few C2D MBs out soon...
What's a good time to check? 07:30 CST early enough?
Apple once told me they put them online at 4AM, I have not yet seem a C2d out yet......the 24" imac was one week to the day on the refurb site......
Same price as the CD Macbooks? I might wait then...
Will they put Leopard on refurbs even if it was not installed on the machine originally (assuming it has been released)?
I have been looking at the 15" refurb MBP (planning to buy one in about 1 month) and a 15" CD 2.0 GHz MBP was $1,349, dont remember if there was 512MB RAM or 1GB though. They had been on there almost everyday i looked until about 3 days ago.
No refurbished MacBooks? Thats a good thing maybe a sign that the new ones get purchased quickly. Glad I got mine when I did
I saw one C2D 2.16 MBP there...but it was snatched up after a day or two.
i think it was for 1,999...i forget.
The C2D Macbook Pros are there. I saw some on Wednesday morning, and they were gone by 10am pst or so. More came up on Saturday morning, and I snagged one then! They again were no longer listed by about 10am.
I only saw the 15", but they had both models available.
$1599 and $1999.
I'll just wait for the C2D MB, I only have $500 skrilla right now anyway
2.16s were going for 1599
Hope this helps
Apple put up a bunch of refurbs but all I see are core duo. They did put up a couple MBP intel core 2 duo today though. 15" and 17" ones.
i can see a lot of people with their credit card in hand waiting for the c2d mb's hehe
are the C2D's that much faster?
I would like to know the same.
I don't need my CC in hand, I have it memorized
From what I've seen C2D's are 10-15% faster, and they will run 64 bit programs.
For "real world" uses, there isn't a lot of difference.
