Does it look like apple is not making a rose gold color for Apple watch 5? Wife has series 0 that just broker would like to get her a series 5 but sad I don't see a rose gold.

That’s how Apple is, they always bring in ‘limited colors’ that may not be offered the next year. I also suspect rose gold was not very popular in comparison to the silver aluminum and space gray.

im one of these affected parties of apple not doing rose gold anymore

honestly the new "gold" color is a rosier shade of gold than you think. in some lightings, it can even be mistaken for rose gold!

I have the series 4 in gold. The color is very similar to the rose gold that I had on the Series 3, just not quite as pink. With the pink sand sports band you hardly notice the difference.

Yeah I agree with everyone above. At first I got a black series 4 because I thought there was no more rose gold and I didn’t want the true gold color.

But in person the gold looks like a perfect shade of rose gold!

So I exchanged it for gold and couldn’t have been happier with the color!

Pre-ordered the series 5 in gold already too!

This is true. I have the gold aluminum series 4 and had rose gold series 1. The new gold is definitely a rosy gold. Would probably look good with a rose gold band. The gold band I have with the 4 and presumably the 5 looks too yellow

Awesome thanks guys/girls for the info I guess I'll preorder a 5 for her.

I just bought the series 4 gold aluminum and to me it kind of looks light bronze. Saying that, it does look good with the light pink floral band I bought from casetify.

My S4 “gold” watch is definitely rosy gold in most lighting conditions, not very yellowish. (It is a much closer tone to real rose gold than my S2, which was very pink). Assuming that Apple hasn’t tweaked the color in the S5, I think anyone who is looking for a rose gold color will be pleased with the gold S5.

Here are some pics of my gold S4 next to 14k rose gold and yellow gold jewelry:

I hope she’s pleased. It’s definitely rosy...here’s a pic next to a 14k yellow gold ring
