That’s why there are variety of options right now form others. It will be quite some time before Apple change the form factor to round if they ever decide that, which I very much doubt.

Right, but Apple is not an always big on physical changes. Especially given that they really do believe in this current design and form factor, I’m not sure that a round Apple Watch is in their future at all. Apple and conformity are not mutually exclusive when it comes to consumer expectations.

I could see them go slimmer and with a curved screen faster than round to be honest. Won’t look that bad. Check out the 750k ceramic watch Federer wears. Quite stylish.
