Firmware version on your device is irrelevant to being able to save currently signed SHSH

Always stay as low as possible UNTIL a untethered JB is available. I went to 6.1 yesterday on my 4S (stock anyway due replacement) my iPad2 is still on 5.1.1 JBen. Have SHSH's for both on 6.01 and 6.1

I dont know if I would call this a new thread, it is about a given topic, but it is important information that can easily get lost in the thread about a jailbreak being on 6.02 or that planet has good news....I think this was a good thing to get its own thread. The other threads can deal with speculation of the release date

They just seemed like they had good news regarding "the future of jailbreaking", I probably read into that too much assuming that could mean a boot rom jailbreak.
