"Syncing" not "Synching" by the way...

This is one feature I really need. I use Xmarks to keep all of my browsers in sync on my Mac but for some reason none of the bookmark changes I make on my Mac appear in iOS5.

Any ideas of how I could handle this? I have looked though all of the iTunes check boxes and wireless sync settings on my devices.

Turn off bookmarks on your phone in iCloud then back on restart your phone. That fixed mine

Just tried that. It seems like it is syncing, just not correctly. It should mirror the bookmarks bar on Safari for my Mac right?

Here is what happened, a few days ago I noticed that the bookmarks bar on my iPhone had a duplicate folder that I keep on my Mac's bookmarks bar titled "Favorites". I deleted it on my iPhone, however when I restarted it, I noticed that both the duplicate and original were gone. Everything is still fine on my Mac's bookmarks, but even when I delete all bookmarks and turn off and then back on iCloud bookmark syncing, it repopulates the old bookmarks bar- that doesn't contain my "favorites folder" currently present on my bookmarks bar for Safari on my Mac.

I hope that wasn't too confusing. Thanks again

If I bookmark something on my iPhone right now it will immediately show up in Safari for Mac.

If I bookmark something in Mac and then do wireless sync on my iPhone 4s, it doesnt seem to show up on my phone. So its only really working one way.

Bookmark something on the iPhone it will appear on Safari for Mac. Bookmark something on Mac, no change on iPhone.

Okay. I kind of figured it out. The problem is definitely somewhere in iCloud. If I turn off bookmarks in iTunes and bookmark syncing using iCloud off in settings on my iPhone. Then I plug my iPhone into my mac and sync like we did before iCloud, then all of my current Safari bookmarks from my mac appear perfectly on my iPhone.

However, after doing so, If I go into iCloud settings on my iPhone and turn on bookmark syncing, it will tell me that its going to "merge" my iCloud bookmarks with my current bookmarks on my iPhone- which then deletes my several of the first folders on my bookmarks bar.

Any idea of how to address this, now that I know its an iCloud problem?
