Well, does anybody else with our build get the reader option? I didn't get any reader option just like Peace on those links.

That is debatable for a site that has the majority of users using Safari,

Yeah, huh? The majority of users on this site don't own a Mac and Safari's market share for PCs rivals Zune's market share in MP3s. (Actually, it's much lower)

I have Safari Version 5.0 (6533.16)

I have the same exact build. Also, the latest Webkit build (Version 5.0 (6533.16, r61173)) worked fine.

As an aside, there may be some "learning" that Safari is doing. I've had some sites first not give the Reader option, but after using the site more and using the Readability bookmarklet, it started giving me the Reader option. There may have been other factors here though and I haven't done anything to test this further.

That's not what I said.

I did not mention anything about URL.

Article page length =< xyz% of display height = no reader
Article page length > xyz% of display height = reader

Consultant you win the Genius award of the day. I tested different sizes of the Safari window and what do ya know. POOF!

yea, that works and it's stupid. Really stupid. So I like reader and I have to have the window 1/100 of the size on my 24" monitor to be able to use reader.

Come on Apple, that's just stupid.

Zoom in. It shows the reader when the window is small but it goes away when the window is big.

Zooming in and out, I never see the address bar where the Reader button would be. It's cropped off the top of the screen.

You need to resize your browser to show the whole video. There's a black bar on top blocking it if you aren't at certain resolution.

Zoomed all the way in, all the way out, and normal view. Screen maximized to fill entire screen:

I do have 24" monitor, so if you're on 13" monitor, it's likey not going to work. The movie itself needs to be resized to match your resolution in order for you to see the whole video.

I'm on a 15" MBP, but there's plenty of black space around the video. Very strange the way it appears. It's not a big deal.... I don't need to see it. It just didn't readily show the address bar, so perhaps not the best method of screen recording, especially for visibility on a variety of screens.

Like I said. Download it and watch it in QT

I think John Gruber said he had it narrowed down is was thinking it is based on a word count of over 200 before reader appears.
