Yay! No school again (2nd time)

We have 6" of snow and its still coming down. My road isn't plowed yet.

Too bad I have to study for midterms all day :(.

It's 73 degrees here today (fahrenheight, not celcius :D)

Too bad I'm stuck in the office, I'd love to get some fresh air.

Today is my third, and I'm loving it. I went out last night with my friends to see Underworld, and didn't get to sleep until about 12:30. The snow and extra sleep were appreciated.

That, and I had midterms last week... No homework and a day off! :) :D

6" of snow and they're shutting down school?!? Wimps. :p It could be blizzarding and -40 degrees and nothing shuts down here.

My school never has snow days.. and I live in Minnesota! But, we have a day off because it's the end of the semester.

My school got kinda screwed. A few weeks ago the snow picked up a lot during the day causing all of the public schools to get off early. We already had a half day. Then about 2 weeks later, public schools got off for icy conditions. Guess what? We already had that day off.

You already had time off, what are you complaining about? Or are you juist greedy and want even more time off? :p ;)

I'm a few miles south of the rain/snow line . :(
But it doesn't matter, today's my first day back after 5 weeks of winter break. :D
I also skipped my first class of the day, which was at 10. Next up: Wind Ensemble rehearsal at 7.

Well what happens every year in my town is the weather man make a big deal about a storm, it starts to snow, they cancel school, and it ends up snowing 1".

Then the next time is snows/ices, the school says were having school, then cars get stuck out on the main road infront of the school, everyone is late, and buses get in accidents.

Then the next time it snows, they cancel school if it snows 1/2".

Its a never ending cycle.

You should try North Carolina. 1" of snow FORCASTED and they're cancelling school the night before! :)

You should try Britain. I seriously doubt you'll find another nation that panics so much at the sight of a snowflake. An inch would probably see the whole country shut down... :D

Here.

Although I grew up in the Midwest were it got below freezing on a regular basis in the winter, after living here for almost 6 years, my tolerance for the cold has dropped dramatically. I have to have my heater at home at around 74º while I'm still wearing a jacket in order to keep from shivering!

I had class today, i still have another at 4 (Digital video editing using Premier on windows  ) Lucky for me my english let out way early supposed to get out at 3:55, o well now i don't have to run..i mean drive across campus...maybe i still will drive don't wwant to walk back at night....

well i'd never know as i have no school today anyway, had midterms last week and they give us a couple days off this week ^_^

but it is snowing a bit.. i love connecticut. a lot of the other schools that do have school today had delays...

We have some snow here (which is now slush), and they didnt cancel school. That's ok though, since I left early anyway. :)

Ah.. Slush. Winter in Lil Rhody. How I miss thee. :)

snowed over the weekend here. nothing worthwhile though. only three inches or so. meh. still at work.

i think in my four years of high school i only had one snow day. took about eight inches to close my school. they made you come in no matter what.

i miss college.
