No secondary click in iWork and iLife

for some reason iWork and iLife only let me secondary click once before I can no longer secondary click.

Command Click, corner click, two finger click, two fingers + thumb click. nothing works

PS: also ctrl and alt clicking do not work

What about CONTROL click?

CTRL + Click also does not work, and i wasn't certain if it also was an option but alt+click does not work as well

What does OPTION/ALT + click do?

Have you restarted your Mac yet and tried another mouse perhaps? Or repaired permissions?

this problem has been consistent across multiple restarts and no I have not tried repairing but i fail to see how the difference between chmod 225 and chmod 744 would create this issue but I will try that next.

as for the function of alt click For pages it brings up a crosshair but i can't test its functionality at the moment
