No service after airplane mode twice?

Is this happening for you on iphone6? First airplane mode seems to snatch signal. Second time seems to stay hung on no service. A reboot fixes it

Nope. I had 6 flights in the past 2 weeks with my iPhone 6 and no issues coming out of flight mode.

My first guess would be to to sign out of iCloud, then reset your network settings (signing out of iCloud first is important on iOS 8.0.x, so make sure you do that before any reset).

If none of that works, try getting the SIM swapped.

And if THAT doesn't work, time for a genius bar appointment.
