No Service/Searching

Unthered Jailbroken 5.0.1 BB 06.15.00 iPhone 3Gs stuck at the No Service/searching error even after installing ultrasn0w, someone please help, I've reflashed the BB like 4 times and have restored on DFU with a custom IPSW a few times and still they same results, 947(3rd, 4th and 5th) I understand the serial number as the 47th week of 2009 is it an acceptable serial number.

Also now whenever I try and restore with iTunes I get an error saying it cannot contact the update server, I've cleared out my hosts file of any gs.apple.com lines and I'm still getting the error.

Ok so I fiddled with some settings and now I'm getting a carrier but no bars whether I'm outside or inside, basically I just turned data roaming on for a while and now the carrier stays, it's the official carrier too; O2-UK so yeah if anyone has had this problem and found a fix it'd be much appreciated.

 

Just did this and I'm getting the same problem, looked around and found out the problem; my IMEI is blocked in the UK so I'll see the carrier but never get any signal
