Hello,

Recently i dropped my iphone on the floor, and as a consequense the ordinary GSM signal won't work. I am however able to get signal trough 3G, among with WIFI.

This happened once earlier, and I then dismantled my iphone 3gs, and put it back together. Then everything suddenly worked again..

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Just finished dismantle/reassembely of the phone, and miraculously everything is now back to normal. It seems that some cable (s) might have come loose of its's socket.

I'm happy you got your iPhone to work again. It was probably just the Edge antenna that got unplugged from the mother board.
