No Sim detected help please

I loaded OS 6, without having a Sim in the phone. Now I cannot activate the phone. No matter what I do, it comes back and tells me that I need to put a Sim in the phone. I put the Sim in the phone and it still says the same thing. Any help please?

reinstall ios 6 with the sim in the sim tray.
