I'm probably missing something obvious here. How do I stop the laptop from going into Sleep when the camshell is closed? I just had an upload running over the network, and my camshell was accidentally knocked closed, resulting in the laptop's power shutting off and the network transfer being cancelled. How do I tell the computer that when the LAN connection is active, it should continue operating unless directed otherwise by the user?

That looks like it might work. Thanks.

Edit: On the other hand, looking at a referenced July 29 message, this could be a really bad idea. I was hoping that it was as simple as going into the OS X Preferences and clicking on a checkbox, like the one for Wake on LAN.

There is a setting for turning off sleep on close in system preferences. At lest there was in Snow Leopard.
