There are movies that I had on my iPad that used to play fine, now they do not have sound anymore. Searching the issue brought up surprisingly little useful information (most dealt with un-muting the device) although one website suggested that movies using 5.1 surround sound would not play properly on the device but I cannot confirm it anywhere else. The site also said this was after the 4.3 update.
Has anyone else ran into this problem?
Just to clarify:
-The movies used to work just fine
-If I use airplay and switch the movie to the ATV, it works
-The iPad is not muted
-The movies play in iTunes (and used to play on the iPad)
-The movies also have the same problem on my iPhone
I thought about upgrading one of my devices to iOS 5 beta but since I'm partway through development on a game thats not the brightest idea. Has anyone else experienced this?
