iPad 2, WiFi only, 32GB using iOS 5.01 and, updated to 5.1

I have several video playing apps (such as TCM) that, when I click to watch video, do not play sound. Other apps, like YouTube, play sound. I have looked and looked to find what is wrong but I don't see anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to troubleshooting so I can get audio?

In case it helps, the apps are the TCM app, Retro TV, and Movie Vault that are silent.

I keep looking but don't have any idea why I have no audio. The volume is up and if I switch to YouTube, for example, I get sound quite nicely.

Thanks...

try Oplayer

I had this problem once on vlc player on my ipod. the issue was the video had surround sound and the ipod had only stereo/mono speakers.

but that should fix it

These are self-contained apps, not video sites or video files.

How would Oplayer help? Am I missing a connection in your post?🙂

And, for what it is worth, the new iPad that I got yesterday has the same issues. **sigh**
