Works on Windows, not Mac OS X

Hey Guys,

New here but I have found a weird thing with this. When I connect the Moshi to HDMI on my TV through Lion I get video, no audio. But when I run Windows 7 through Parallels Desktop I get full functionality!

Running on a MBP 2011 (8,3).

I have written to Moshi about the issue and await their response. Seems like a driver issue with Lion sadly...

Will post their findings.

I've just noticed this issue. No audio through MiniDP-to-HDMI since I've 'upgraded' to Lion.

Same issue here...2010 13inch MBP hooked to my 46" Toshiba HD tv via HDMI and no audio...MBP supports audio because it plays it on my 32" and literally every other TV in my house except our 46". I go to settings (on the MBP) and no matter what I choose nothing :( I have to run a cable to my surround sound which is totally fine when I am watching movies with the family but when I am just doing casual use on the 46" (Haha "Casual" on a 46inch TV probably doesn't exist hehe) I don't want Dolby 5.1 surround with base blasting YouTube or whatever so as to not disturb anyone else haha. I went to the TV settings and even enabled HDMI audio support, tried it on mulitple ports, etc.

I am also having the same issue where I cannot get audio through HDMI with my mid 2010 model MBP to my tv or sound system like I could with 10.6. 10.7 I get no audio. I noticed this issue in the beta versions of Lion, but thought it would have been fixed =(

Mine plays audio through the mini display port to hdmi, but you have go to the settings and audio selection part and change to the receiver I use.

Are you guys making this adjustment?

One problem I have though, is I do not get 5:1 sound, I have no center channel making it suck!

totally frustrating....
I'm using a 2010 Mac Mini with HDMI out to a Vizio display, and my audio was working fine until I updated to 10.7.2 (it worked on 10.7.1).

Now, what's weird is when i go into sys prefs I see for my outputs 'Headphones' and 'HDMI'; but it won't let me select HDMI, it just instantly switches back to 'Headphones'.

I even tried the one suggestion to use Sound Source to select output(s)... same deal....rrrrr....

Apple seems to really have difficulties with HDMI, this is the most trouble ive ever had with an apple product, and I've used apple stuff almost exclusively for upwards of 10 yrs, although I've never used HDMI until I bought my this Mac Mini.

similarly to the sentiments of other posts on this thread, hopefully a quick fix update is on its way...
