Just upgraded to Yosemite from 10.9. Before the upgrade, when I increased or decreased the volumn of the speaker, each increment accompanied with a click sound. After the upgrade, there is no sound whenever I change the speaker volumn. Anyway to get this feature back?

Hold the shift key. On 10.9 you could adjust the volume silently by holding shift while pressing the volume keys, on 10.10 they reversed it.

Hallux is correct. There is also a setting under sounds that you can check a box and re-enable feedback with volume changes.

I actually like the silence. Nothing like getting horrendous ear-piercing blips when you crank it up...
