I've got a G5 imac (not intel) and was recently given a Sony HDR-SR11.
imovie HD will not recognize the camera when I plug it in, but iphoto does and quickly imports everything, however their is no sound when I play the clips. I drag the clips to imovie- no sound, I play the clips straight off the desk top (no name?)- no sound. The sound works fine when I replay on the camera.
I've been shooting in SD because I understand that my older mac will not support HD.
Whats going on? Is there a better way to do this? (import)
