This seems strange, but it's been bugging me since I got the iPhone 3G some 7 months ago. If I dial a number while wearing the headset, I can't hear any sound effect for each number I press. It just remains silent. I'm pretty sure I could hear it with my original iPhone. I can also hear them with no headset through the speakers.
Anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to turn it on? It really bugs me lol 😀
