no swish on MagicMouse

My MagicMouse has stopped a left-swish.
I had this same problem a few weeks ago and was told to do a Restart, I did and the problem went away.
All other mouse functions working.

Now the same problem but the restart does not solve the problem.
Batt in mouse is at 80%.
Solution (s)?

Hmmm - have you checked your mouse preferences to ensure the function is enabled there (it may have been accidentally turned off or reconfigured to do "nothing") - also tried unpairing and re-pairing your magic mouse??

I turned the mouse off and then on and it reconnected o.k.
As before, all actions work except swish to move.

Try unpairing it (Bluetooth Menu>YourMouse>Unpair) and then repair it (Like you did when you got it new)

Nope, that does not work either.

Sounds like theres a fault with the hardware - try taking it back to an Apple Store and asking for a replacement and see if it goes away (Just to see if its hardware of software 🙂 )

Magic mouse swish

I hope you are using TWO fingers for the swish? pretty basic I know but just a thought.
