I'm running watchOS 2 still and lately I've noticed that when I start navigation on the watch, I don't get the haptic alerts when I come to a turn. I do get them when I start navigation on the phone, but then I get Siri yelling at me to turn as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

If I'm not crazy when I first got the watch, when I would start navigation on the phone, Siri wouldn't speak, instead I would get the taptics from the watch. Now, I can have Siri speaking AND tactics, or neither.

I use maps frequently and have never experienced this. Sorry.
So to confirm, if you're out and about, you say "hey siri get me directions to..." to your watch. The watch then pulls up the directions, gives you taps to tell you where to turn AND the phone does NOT speak to you?

A long shot, but...
You have Turn Alerts selected in the Watch app in Notifications > Maps?
You have VoiceOver turned off on iPhone in Settings > General > Accessibility?

That is correct, sir. If I start the trip on my watch, my phone doesn't talk to me UNLESS I open the maps app on my phone, then of course it starts talking.

Hmm alright then. I'll go back to the debug room. Thanks for the responses!
