No Text Free Push with JB 3GS

Anyone having luck getting pushed notifications with JB 3GS?

I JB using purplera1n on my phone and now I don't get notification from textfree when I have a new text. 🙁

EDIT-Push is turned on (under settings/mail/fetch new data) and notifications for textfree are also enabled.

Of course as soon as I post this it starts working---whatever 😕
