my iPad Air doesn't have tough is so I have to press and type my passcode EVERY time I want to unlock it. Might be an intentional security decision but it's a for convenience

Slide across and if I hadn't used it for 5 minutes (chosen setting) it would unlock without passcode. It's not a huge thing
Pressing the home button opens it without the passcode. I jumped the gun with this thread. It's a gesture for a gesture, will just take a little getting used to
