No unlocked iphone 7plus?

I don't see the unlocked iphone 7plus available for preorder? Will there not be an unlocked one available this time?

When I specify a full priced iPhone 7plus for ATT from Apple it says it will be unlocked.

In Canada the Apple Store only seems to show the unlocked phone? Nothing tied to a carrier yet.

Expensive though.

If you look at the Apple website if bought from Apple it is unlocked.

This is how I've bought any full retail iPhones, usually just pick the T-Mobile one and trash the SIM.

I was wondering about this too. If it works with AT&T and T-mobile out of the box, I'd gladly pick up a Verizon model.

If you purchase outright at the apple store or apple.com it will be unlocked, just remove the sim upon receiving and insert your own sim card before activating the device. Verizon will be unlocked 100% out of the box.
