Nah..i haven't got my 10.11.3 till 4 days later or something like that. lol.

Edit: or you can reinstall without deleting your stuff. Just install it over from recovery mode.

You may be missing something. What version of OS X is on your computer now? If you are still on a 10.11 beta (not 10.11.1, 10.11.2, etc.) you won't see any updates until you do a full reinstallation.

I downloaded and installed 10.11.4 on my rMBP yesterday evening via the App Store as normal...

You need to download and install the full OS X El Capitan installer. This will get you to 10.11.4 directly: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/os-x-el-capitan/id1018109117?mt=12
