My XS MAX has updated to IOS 16 no problem but my 13 Pro Max is still on 15.7 and will not upgrade, does anyone know why?

My phone, watch, and Apple TV were all offered the newest OS upgrades. My iPad (10.5 pro) is only being offered 15.7. Odd

This is normal. iPadOS release was delayed, so unless you have a beta profile installed on your iPad, it will not offer you anything until iPadOS 16 comes out some time in October. ✋

Do you have any profiles installed on it? If not, try powering it on/off and check again. If this fails too, try updating it with Files/iTunes.

My households two iPhone 12 Pro’s updated to 16.0. My iPhone 11 only shows 15.7. Strange.

I’ll see if there is a profile on the iPhone 11, as I know at one point that was on beta (I think iOS 15). If so I’ll delete and reboot. I’ll respond back this afternoon if that worked.

Do you have a beta profile on your phone? I wonder if that is what’s causing the delay.

FYI. The reason my iPhone 11 didn’t see the 16.0 update was because it had a iOS 15 beta profile on the device. Once I deleted the profile and rebooted the phone, the 16.0 update showed up.

I jave same problem with iphone 12 pro after updating on 15.7 - does not allow update on 16?
