so for the other iDevices, 32->128 wedge is now $100 and in stores, the 64GB models to be phased out are $50 in between.

Did Apple forget to update the price wedges for the touch? There's still a $150 wedge between 32 and 128.

They didn't change them, maybe they'll update them soon? They also added Space Gray when the iPhone 5s came out, but they left the colors the same this time.
 
Apple probably thinks that the incremental increase in sales due to the price drop for the iPod Touch is not going to be significant enough, so they don't bother with it.
Besides, I'm sure Apple rather have people spend a bit more for the iPhone SE.
 
I don't think they will, and really what do you expect? It's already an amazing deal and because it has very small margins compared with other devices, they are unlikely to change it soon.

If it were to happen, I would imagine they would do it with a future refresh if there'll be one.
