iPhone No USB Connectivity after 8.1.2 TaiG Jailbreak iPhone 6

Hey everyone,

Hope this is the right place to post this. Ive tried searching everywhere for help with this, but I've gotten nowhere.

My problem is this: I updated my OS to 8.1.2 a few weeks ago. Clean install via itunes, then restored from backup. Jailbroken with TaiG. No issues during jailbreak.

What is happening since, is have no USB connectivity in Windows, or Mac. If I plug my certified cable into my PC, normally it would chime and start iTunes, now I get nothing. No charging either. Same problem in my vehicle. I plug a cable into my car's USB port, which in the past would charge my phone and allow me to control my music, and now I get nothing.

So basically, I get no charging or connectivity when connected to a usb port.

I can charge my phone via the same cable, provided it is plugged into a power brick, connected to an outlet. Same goes for car lighter adapter.

Please help, I can't access anything on my device!

if you go into DFU mode, will your computer detect the phone again?

It most likely is a hardware related problem

Taig is a software JB that will not cause any hardware issue with your usb connectivity.
Try to clean your usb port on the bottom of the phone in case it has any lint, dust, dirt etc...
If it still doesnt work its a hardware issue and you can bring it in to have it replaced.

Hey guys, I've got this same issue. iPhone 5s jailbroken yesterday. OS 8.1.2. Bluetooth still works for audio in the car, but car is no longer recognizing USB at all, except for charging. So strange! Any ideas?

Can confirm mine is doing the same after taig jailbreak last night.

Def is software related. Here is my fix. I just restored my phone again. And re jailbreak on a pc. No issues now
