I have no library, and thus no application support and thus nowhere
to put a LightRoom plug in. Is this some upgrade improvement that we dont need a user library?

Yes in the system library, I have this location, and the plug-in is there, but does not show up in the application.

Anyone??

Thanks,

SZ

On the Finder toolbar: Go > Go to Folder > /Library or /Users/yourusername/Library

simple enough, thanks. Pity the poor newbie who doesn't even know something needs to be done.

How to find your home library

Hold down the "option" key then click Go in the Finder widow at the same time :)

If you need the Library, you know how to get there. Most don't need to see it or interact with it ever.

If you really want it there, do this in Terminal.

Code:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
